The staff at Riverside Preschool have worked together, providing care, education and fun for the children of Riverside for over 15 years. With so many years teaching preschool in the Village, we know our families, our community, and know parents want their children ready for kindergarten and beyond. We love turning your child’s natural curiosity into a love of learning that will help them reach their potential in preschool, kindergarten, and for the rest of their lives!
Every member of our staff is certified by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). Our fully accredited school is licensed by DCFS.
In 2014 we took the opportunity to continue our program at a new location – Saints Peter and Paul Lutheran Church. Under the welcoming care of the Saints Peter and Paul family, our play-based learning program continues to give children the foundation and love of learning they need to start kindergarten with the academic, social, and classroom attentiveness skills they’ve mastered under our guidance.
We keep our classrooms small and our student to teacher ratio high. That way, we are able to provide your child with the individualized attention they need to learn and grow. Your child will think they’re playing all day – but you’ll know they’re learning, too!
